Happy New Year! I ended 2010 on a good note I would say, went ice skating in Central Park, attended service at Bklyn Tabernacle with Sophia, Bo Yeon, and Sang, and had dinner at a lovely, quaint, French restaurant called Jolie afterwards. Although the REAL midnight countdown was done at the liquor store while Sang and I were buying some champagne haha. Regardless, 2010 was a good year overall, and I thank the Lord for always watching over me, through the good and bad times. So I decided since I have the worst memory possible, it would be nice to briefly recap this past year. 2010 was a big year for me. The biggest things this year would have to be that I graduated college, started my full time job, and met Sang. Oh, and that I went to DisneyWorld finally and my childhood is now complete! ;) And I also quit those white cancer sticks for good after 4 years yay! The biggest disappointment would be that my relationship with God barely grew. But just as good things take time and effort and don't happen overnight, this relationship can only grow stronger as I greet the New Years seeking joy and peace in Him.
So as for my New Year's resolutions, here goes nothing:
1. Have a closer relationship with the Lord
2. Be more frugal- I spend way too much money on cabs and frivolous things. So no more taking cabs unless it's an emergency. (Although I already broke this by taking the cab home last night eek!- emergency situation, it was 4 A.M.!)
3. become a better daughter, sister, friend, girlfriend, yadda yadda yadda~
4. see Acacia. because I miss that girl like crazy and I miss her British accent
Overall a very good year for me, and I can't wait to see where 2011 will take me! Good food, good company, and good wine is all I need!

On another note, I painted this for my boyfriend's 23rd birthday this past September. Finding the time to paint is harder than ever now that I'm working. I miss the lazy Spring days when I only had to go to school 3 days a week so I would get to spend my days painting while sippin' on wine spritzers.You can't really tell in this photo but there are contrasting squares in the bg. The swirly "tree of life" is made from broken mirror pieces as well. Inspiration of the world map? We both love traveling, and that was what our first conversation was about on that random night when I ran into him and that caught my attention. Cannot wait to start traveling with him! Especially because I learned in Disneyworld that we can spend 68635465 hours together and not kill each other.

Anyways, it's the New Year and I need to go make some kimchii dumplings with my mama.
